One of the biggest benefit of Jiujitsu is that it helps people get fit. As such, anyone of any physical condition may come in with no problem. Our instructors are trained to push (within limits) our students to get better and fitter each time we step out of the mats.
The Gi uses a traditional Jiujitsu kimono, while No-gi does not. With that said, we recommend beginners start with the Gi Class, as we believe the fundamental techniques are more complete with it. As for MMA fighters, No-gi may be more suitable. Ultimately, both arts compliment each other and is necessary to be a complete Jiujitero.
For the Gi class, you will need to wear a Brazilian Jiujitsu Kimono of any brand, provided it does not have any other school patch. The exception is if you are a visitor from another country.
As for the Nogi class, you may wear a rashguard and any quick dry shorts that does not have pockets and/or zippers. Leggings are allowed provided shorts are worn over it.
We have partnered with Noughts and Crosses, one of the leading Jiujitsu local brands that supply quality yet affordable Jiujitu uniforms in Manila. These are all available for purchase on our online store as well as the front desk.
Rental gis are available for PHP 500.00 on this link or at the front desk.
We provide a 7 day free trial for beginners who have never trained Jiujitsu before. However, you must be a resident of Manila in order to avail of this promo. Proof of residence is required.

We have students as young as 4 years old and as old as 65 years old. There is no age limit when to train or even start Jiujitsu. Our instructors are trained to teach technique over power, and each student may go at their own comfortable pace.
At the moment, all classes are mixed. However, we do have a good amount of female students and instructors that partner with each other.
Absolutely! Apart from the physical benefits (strength, balance, flexibility, and endurance), we believe the true benefit of Jiujitsu for kids is the mental growth it facilitates. Knowing to defend oneself will not only increase your child’s confidence, but will teach them how to become disciplined leaders as well.
For more information, please see our chart on why we think Jiujitsu is best for self-defense and why we believe we are the best Jiujitsu gym for kids in Manila.
